The Winnipeg Jets have added more fan favourites to their alumni game roster, including Nik Antropov, who scored the first regular season goal in Jets 2.0 history.
The team has announced the addition of several key players from Jets 2.0 history, including Cody Eakin and Eric Fehr.
The Russian forward Antropov played two seasons with the Jets and had 53 points.
Other forwards added to the roster include Sam Gagner, Tanner Glass, Anthony Peluso, Jim Slater, Drew Stafford, and Tim Stapleton.
Gagner signed a free-agent deal with Winnipeg in September 2022 and played 48 games with the team.
The defence lineup includes Grant Clitsome, Tobias Enstrom, Ron Hainsey, Derek Meech, and Mark Stuart.
Enstrom came to Winnipeg when the Atlanta Thrashers relocated and was in the Manitoba capital for seven seasons.
The team is currently standing 12th in the Western Conference with a 35-35 record, on a L4 streak as of June 25, 2026.
The additions to the alumni game roster are expected to bring excitement to fans, with many of the players being fan favourites from Jets 2.0 history.
And with the current team struggling, the alumni game is a welcome distraction for fans.
But the team will need to focus on their current performance, with a tough schedule ahead.
So the alumni game will be a great opportunity for fans to see some of their favourite players in action again.
The goalie lineup includes Michael Hutchinson, who posted a 21-10-5 record with 2.38 goals against average and .914 save percentage during the Jets' first playoff season in Winnipeg.
